Villa Rebeca is a stunning, detached luxury villa set within its own lush grounds, on the Lisbon coast. Offering the perfect combination of secluded, green tranquillity and all that the surrounding region has to offer, guests will be immediately put at their ease by this relaxed home.
The contemporary interiors are sleek and modernist, whilst also being home-like and cosy. Finished to an impeccable standard, set within a gated complex with round the clock surveillance, this is an incredibly safe holiday home and thus ideal for families.
At just a short walking distance to the beach, whilst having all local amenities just five kilometres away in Troja, this villa ticks all the boxes with style and panache!
The kitchen is airy, fresh and well equipped with seating space for those important post swim snacks or toddler meals. All top of the range appliances are integrated including steam ovens and American style fridge-freezer are at guests disposal.
The dining-living space is elegant - offering wonderful views across the gardens. Comfortable sofas, a multi channel TV and even an office space complete with library meaning everyones needs are catered for. The interiors have some fun and quirky features - splashes of vibrant reds, modern artwork, industrial materials - design enthusiasts will be delighted.
The ground floor provides one bedroom with a double bed and a further bedroom with twin beds as well as a family shower room. So stylishly finished, with crisp high quality bedlinen, wonderful accents of colour and infused with natural light, guests will rest easy here.
The first floor provides a master suite with en-suite bath-shower room, and two further bedrooms, one of which has the option for a double bed or twin beds, and the other which has twin beds. Each room comes with its stylish finishes, fabulous lighting and wonderful views. There is a further bathroom on this floor with funky “his and hers” style sinks, very much the European way!
With all this choice and options for sleeping, large families or a group can comfortably be accommodated. The Villa marries personality and fun with modern, sleek living.
This villa truly comes into its own with the outdoor spaces. Huge, safe green lawns, wooded areas meaning ample privacy, gorgeous pool with generous poolside lounging area, as well as sun deck leading from the first floor onto the roof terrace.
Guests can simply arrive here, safe in the knowledge that every little detail is covered. There is ample parking space for two cars, a wonderful built-in outdoor barbecue-oven with elegant covered veranda.
With coffee machine, Wi-fi and English speaking television channels, everyones needs are looked after at Villa Rebeca.
Moments from the beach, guests need not actually use a car on a day to day basis when staying at this sumptuous villa. Just a ten minutes drive will take visitors to Troja where an array of amenities can be found including golf course, tennis courts, spa, playground, shops and casino.
Troja’s marina is lively at sundown, with lots of wonderful restaurants and bars; families can be seen promenading, children often among the party.
Golf and water sports enthusiasts will be well catered for; this region is rich in opportunities for access to these, as well as riding, bird watching and other outdoor pursuits.
The beauty of the Lisbon coast is that it provides a breezy escape from the capital, whilst being home to some of Portugal’s historic jewels, which attract thousands of visitors: the ancient walled town of Obidos, the 12th century monastery at at Alcobaca, the Catholic pilgrimage site of Fatima, and the fairytale palaces of Sintra.
Taking the Atlantic road from Ericeira to Peniche, down to the pretty, well-heeled town of Comporta, visitors will come across small harbour villages, hilltop castles, estuary reserves with flocks of flamingoes and mile upon mile of beach.
Alternatively, following the river Tejo northeast into Ribatejo, wine enthusiasts will delight in the many vineyards where some of the country’s best wine is produced.
Our pick of the beaches would include taking the road down from Cabo da Roca to uncover a hidden gem which is Praia da Ursa, famed for its wind sculpted formations.
Sintra deserves a mention; perched above wooded slopes, it is known for its turreted palaces, the most famous being the ornate Palacio Nacional and the pink and yellow Palacio da Pena. The town’s cool hilltop air has long attracted writers, artists and poets.
Comporta is Portugal’s answer to St Tropez; it has a chic laid back vibe with wonderful restaurants and pristine sands backed by windswept dunes - a designer’s haven.
