If you can bear to pull yourself away from the beach, the storied town of Hythe, with its Victorian promenade and independent boutiques, is just a few minutes away on foot. Take a stroll down the Royal Military canal, or enjoy a ride on the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch miniature steam railway. If you fancy venturing further afield, take a thirty-minute drive to the stunning Kent Downs, or a nine-minute drive to the nearby village of Sandgate.
