This unique, recently refurbished five-bedroom villa in rural Menorca, enjoys a stunning private pool and fabulous garden area.

The entrance hall is beautifully lit by the large porch doors which allow the light to flood into the room. The open plan living area is immensely spacious, bright and airy, with exterior doors on either side. The furnishings within are of the highest quality, with tasteful and traditional Menorcan decorations creating a sense of culture within the space. The kitchen, too, is hugely spacious, providing plenty of surface areas on which to prepare a meal and all the latest mod cons to ensure cooking is a breeze and a joy!

Three of the five bedrooms are on this ground-floor, two of which enjoy ensuites. The other two bedrooms are on the first-floor, alongside a further shower room. Each bedroom is uniquely finished, with fine wooden furniture and traditional paintings. The bathrooms are modern and delightful, with hairdryers and towels provided.

With a choice of vast shaded, cushioned bench spaces as well as an outdoor dining area and a beautiful, stone-wall-lined pool area, the garden is perhaps the jewel in the crown of this exquisite property! And with the vast array of trees, plants and flowers there is much to explore! The pool, sitting at one end of the garden, provides the perfect space in which to relax in the warm glow of the Menorcan afternoons, especially if you’ve managed to break a sweat on the ping pong table!

The Balearic island of Menorca is the quieter, unspoilt version of its big sisters Majorca and Ibiza.

While it is partly known for its traditional summer fiestas, which take place in different towns around the island all summer long (with origins dating back to the 14th century!) it’s really the place for those who enjoy a calmer, slower pace of life.

Aside from its traditional fiestas, Menorca is better visited for its white-sand bays such as Pregonda and Cala Macarella, clear, turquoise water and more gentle activities like walking, cycling or horse-riding. With a coastline punctuated by beautiful coves and a landscape awarded the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve status, strewn with ancient stone monuments and an estimated 70,000km of dry-stone walls, this is an island for the nature lovers, and anyone looking for a little rest and relaxation.

Within the south-east corner of Menorca, this fabulous villa is in the perfect location to explore the stunning Balearic island, with innumerable beaches and coves surrounding the nearby areas of Binidali and Punta Prima, and the capital town of Mahon just a 15-minute drive away. Mahon makes for a beautiful day of strolling, with many narrow pedestrianised streets and historical sites to visit, as well as plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants.
