Villa Miquela is a prestigious, elegant detached home finished with architectural panache and grand style, nestled in a tranquil location close to the nearby village of S’Horta. This home stands imperially within its beautiful grounds, looking over its beautiful private pool; with sloping terracotta tiled roofs in the local style, wooden shutters and veranda, it offers a nod to the authentic Mallorcan style with rustic and homey interiors.

The pool is an elegant affair, framed by a circular patio, an array of sun loungers and expansive immaculately maintained gardens. This beautiful idyll is hallmarked by verdant lawns, swaying palm trees and the surrounding hills. Offering absolute privacy and tranquillity, this is an ideal retreat away from crowds and bustle.

The water feature and far reaching views, and ever so tasteful - almost Tuscan feeling - steps and ornamental balustrades make for such an aesthetically pleasing haven.

A blend of old and new, with hints of an original farmhouse and original stone, there is ample private parking. Guests can arrive and relax, safe in the knowledge that every comfort has been provided. There are a secure, lockable gate and intercom system - the whole family can enjoy the privacy and safety of the beautiful grounds this home offers.

The large kitchen has a rustic charm, fitted with solid oak; equipped with all necessary appliances it offers a cosy and inviting space to prepare family meals with beautiful views. With the original natural timber being a theme throughout this home, the open plan living room is comfortable and provides low essential luxury; the open fireplace continues the rustic theme.

A large open plan dining space offers to seat for ten; touches of character are present by way of artwork and ornamentation. The television provides some satellite channels and DVD.

While having a very country-esque finish internally, guests can relax in the knowledge that all modern conveniences are present: wifi, dishwasher, washing machine, to name a few. The master bedroom is opulent and brims with character, finished with crimson red tones, it leads onto the beautiful balcony and private seating area, infused with natural daylight via the French windows.

This luxurious suite has marble units and a jacuzzi corner bath! Imagine sitting admiring the far reaching country views with a glass of wine as the sun softens, or fresh coffee and pastries of a morning!

There is a further double bedroom, and three twin bedrooms, each with their accents of colour and design flair - in total Villa Miquela accommodates ten guests.

There is ample opportunity for dining al fresco; with a built-in brick barbecue and kitchenette. This space provides a covered terrace and comfortable seating - ideal for long, lazy lunches outside as a family or group.
Villa Miquela is situated in open, rolling countryside about ten minutes from Cala d’Or. Close by; guests will be able to access the golf course at Cala d’Or. The closest village of S’Horta is just a short drive away, where all essential amenities can be found including bakery and shops.

Water sports and beach life are very much central to Majorca.  

Cycling is a significant part of the tourism trade in this part of Majorca - it has become a central hub for those wanting to make the most of the diverse array of northern routes and rugged, beautiful scenery. With safe, yet challenging, mountain roads and year-round temperate weather, cycling enthusiasts will find themselves among a like-minded biking community.

Hiking is likewise very much a draw for visitors to the region; an exceptionally beautiful hike being the route to the former monastery Lluc, situated in the Tramuntana mountains - along yet wonderfully rewarding path offering unspoilt views of luscious nature.

Golfers will be very much at home with an array of golf courses to select from.

Whether it be pilates, or paddle boarding, kite surfing or chartering a private boat to explore hidden corners of the coastline, the opportunities for sports and activities at all levels are endless. 

Not so much known for its nightlife, this corner of Mallorca is very much a family-friendly destination, however many of the restaurants offer live music and party nights. The range of eateries is diverse, while all ages will be welcome in restaurants.
