Maplewood Barn’s 10 acres of meadows and woodlands are as wonderful to explore as they are conducive to privacy. The owners operate a turtle rescue sanctuary and will be glad to provide a “Turtle Tour” where they take guests to visit the ponds and talk about the intrigue and necessity of turtle conservation.
Located just outside the lovely Bedfordshire village of Colmworth with its charming church and community centre. The nearby Colmworth Golf Club is great for anyone who like to spend their vacation time on the links.
The area also boasts some lovely pubs and eateries, including The Plough at Bolnhurst and the Colmworth Golf Club. If guests want to expand their options, the nearby town of Bedford (16-minute drive).
