While a pub crawl around the area is a big yes, the villa provides a wine cellar and stylish bar stools, perfect to sample locally-produced rice wine.
The bedrooms stay true to the minimalistic décor of the property, boasting impressive pool or courtyard views. A heady palette of black and white interiors is complete with cosy king-size beds for two, blackout curtains, and ensuite bathrooms. One of the bedrooms even comes with an airy balcony, popular among guests for late-night yoga.

For exquisite seafront views and sundowner parties, nothing beats Potato Head Beach Club (3.2 km). Motel Mexiloca (2.3 km) is well-known for its unique neon-soaked décor and lip-smacking food. Within walking distance from the villa is BRAUD Café, where you can dig into freshly-baked bread, cakes, and creamy lattes. Head down to Nook (2.5 km) for its incredible fusion of Asian-Western flavour, or enjoy Muari’s (3.5 km) sumptuous Italian cuisine and elegant white interiors.
For delicious Balinese flavours, Warung is the place to be. A perennial favourite of locals and travellers alike, it is dotted across the island, and is known to serve a local, authentic fare.
End your day at La Favela (1.1 km), which boasts a décor unlike any other. It recreates the charm of Bali’s beguiling jungles with inspirations from the favelas of Rio de Janeiro and London’s underground clubs.
If beaches are your thing, the big waves of Echo are worth the half-an-hour drive. It remains a favourite amongst adrenaline junkies for its surfing spots and water sports. The relaxing shores of Sanur are only 16 kilometers from the villa, and are a quiet, leafy alternative to the busier beaches around.
Bali is home to some of the most stunning temples and shrines in all of Asia. Petitenget Beach (approx 3 km) is where you can witness the beautiful Petitenget Temple, and dance to folk music at the nearby communal hall.  Uluwatu Temple is 26.2 kilometers away, and watches over the region from the peak of an exalted cliff. Ulun Danu Beratan is perched on the shores of Lake Bratan, hidden behind a wall of mountains. Tanah Lot Sea Temple (16.3 km) sits atop a gigantic rock formation, boasting views of the sun going down.
