Hugging the hillside, this villa on a boutique 5-star resort is a real gem. On arriving at the villa via a chauffeured golf buggy, we were completely stopped in our tracks by the incredible Gulf of Mirabello views – they truly are breathtaking. You can admire them from the private heated infinity pool with its jet for swimming against the stream or in the jacuzzi. Inside, more fabulous vistas and luxuries await. We love the marble bathroom – light the candles, have a long soak in the sunken bath, or unwind in the sauna. Your host can arrange a massage in your villa or the sumptuous communal spa (you also have a private gym).
There are more fantastic facilities to enjoy, including a restaurant onsite and a beach club, a ten-minute ride away on the daily shuttle service provided. Here you’ll find sun loungers, sun shades and plush beach towels. Water sports and other services are provided upon request. Or visit the quaint fishing village of Elounda, 2.5 kilometres away, while cosmopolitan Agios Nikolaos is 5 kilometres. If you want to do some island hopping and explore places like Spinalonga, then your host can charter a yacht for you.
