With its grey hues and potted plants, this open plan space is a great place to unwind. The main bedroom is a particular highlight with its seascape outlook and access to the balcony. This home is ideal for a couple, friends or a family.
If you fancy feeling warm golden sand between your toes, then head to Calheta Beach, a ten-minute drive away, where you can also find bars, restaurants and a supermarket. Also, close by is Engenho da Calheta, one of the oldest sugar cane mills on the island. The facilities here were used to produce sugar cane brandy – head to the tasting room or wine bar here. If you want to explore the capital, Funchal city centre is around a forty-minute drive, where you’ll find Funchal Cathedral, tropical gardens, the pretty harbour and Madeira wine cellars.
