These salt flats are the largest of the kind in the Canary Islands and were first formed in 1730 after the eruption of a monumental volcano. As such, this led to the creation of a range of natural walls around the local lagoon. Guests are free to explore this landmark in full, marvelling at the full spectrum of colours that is created through a variety of reflections.
