Plush sofas surround the modern TV, with a large dining table beside it, both flooded with natural light through the wall-to-wall garden doors! Your stunning kitchen is incredibly spacious and includes everything you could possibly need to rustle up a treat, and there’s a Tesco Lotus supermarket just 5 minutes away for stocking up! Or, if you’d rather not cook during your holiday, let us know your order from the local restaurants (menus available), and we’ll deliver it right to your door, so you never have to leave your beachfront hideaway!
There are five bedrooms in total, including two master bedrooms each with a king-size bed, two more rooms with king-size beds, and a children’s room. The master bedrooms are wonderful, with sea-views through floor-to-ceiling windows that provide immediate access to this brilliant pool-terrace! The double rooms are all spacious and lovely, while the children’s room provides that little extra entertainment, including a TV and a PlayStation. All five rooms enjoy sparkling ensuite facilities that will provide great enjoyment to all guests, with vast walk-in rain-showers! A bonus room can be used as a study, or even offer space for an additional two children with a fold-out bed, or else a nanny!
Out in your exquisite private garden, the distinctive native trees provide a superb backdrop to a whole world of entertainment. Upon stepping into your private Thai oasis, you cannot help but be drawn to the spectacular sea-views that are, of course, thanks to the villa’s wonderful beachfront position. The other key attraction is the fantastic infinity pool which mirrors the turquoise waters of the sea just meters beyond and invites you to enjoy its expansive, refreshing depths. Around it there are loungers, casual seating and even a huge lawn, providing something for every mood and occasion! Your immense veranda provides a dreamy location in which to admire this dazzling garden, and indeed tuck into some unforgettable meals around this marvellous alfresco dining table! With a stay in Villa Strand you’re just a 25-minute drive from the International Airport, so you won’t waste hours travelling here once you’ve landed and can get straight into enjoying a special holiday in the sun!
Just a five-minute walk along the beach is the sublime ‘Baba Beach Club’ restaurant which serves Chino Portuguese cuisine, offering fine dining and a contemporary tropical style with breath-taking panoramic views of the Andaman coast!
Fantastic local excursions including the Sangtawan Safari, just over 10 minutes away, Splash Jungle and the vibrant Ao Phang Nga National Park, both around 20 minutes away, and the stunning Khao Lak National Park 45 minutes away, offer endless miles of incredible scenery, including sea cliffs, mountains, waterfalls, forests and mangrove swamps all framing picture-perfect pockets of white sands and crystal-clear seas! And for those seeking a little retail therapy, both Turtle Village and Maikhao Plaza will fulfil your desires and are only 15 minutes away!
Within just a 40-minute drive you will find the three excellent Golf Courses of Blue Canyon Country Club, Mission Hills Golf Course and Katathong Golf Course, each providing a perfectly picturesque day out in the sublime Phang Nga countryside! For a calm day out on the water, you can also visit the Marinas of Yacht Haven and Ao Po Grand, also both within a 40-minute drive.
Tucked between the shores of the Andaman Sea to the west and Phang Nga Bay to the south, the province of Phang Nga is a natural haven among the most bustling and busy areas of Thailand. There are many other National Parks in the province, with four of Thailand’s finest conservation areas are just a short distance from the resort, including the Similan and Surin Islands, famous for its revered diving spots! Khao Sok National Park, by contrast, is one of the oldest rainforests in the world and is home to a myriad of caves and waterfalls.
If you can spare the time, be sure to take a boat trip around Phang Nga Bay, with many uninhabited islands and the famous spires of limestone rocks that tower out of the emerald-green sea. Take a leisurely boat trip that winds down wide rivers through the jungle and mountains and admire the famous James Bond Island and Koh Panyee.
