Sandwiched between the azure sky and the turquoise Ionian Sea, this apartment sitting high on the hills of the Greek coastline is all about the views.
Floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors make the most of the incredible landscape, but for an even clearer view over to Corfu, all you have to do is step out on the balcony — our favourite time is at sunset when the sky turns pink and purple. Sticking outside, the downstairs infinity pool is perfect for cooling off from the Greek sunshine, with sun loungers available for a spot of tanning, too.
If you need some respite from the Mediterranean heat, pop back into the monochrome interior, which has some definite Scandi influences, as seen with the preference for wooden surfaces, mid-century furnishings and clean lines. The minimalist grey kitchen is the sort of svelte cooking quarters you’d find in an urban apartment, as well.
On this corner of the Greek coastline, you’re surrounded by islets and gorgeous beaches, with the nearest only two minutes’ walk away. The town of Syvota only takes a quarter of an hour to reach on foot too and offers a great selection of bars and restaurants.
