Wake up in a splendid canopied bed and immediately take in the breath-taking views. Huge windows are a key part of the style of this home, which brings the outside in at every opportunity. The living space has wall-to-wall glass patio doors so light pours in and the sparkling blue Ionian Sea becomes part of the muted colour scheme.
Head outside to the vast covered area, where you can eat breakfast in the shade. Comfy sofas and day beds mean that there’s always a restful corner for you to curl up in with a book. The heated infinity pool looks out over the quiet cove just below the villa, so as you swim you can spot little boats bobbing on the gentle waves.
You can get out and admire the coast from the sea yourself, if that appeals. The pretty harbourside town of Sivota is just five minutes away by car, and from there you can easily arrange to hire a boat or head out on a yacht trip. Snorkelling is also popular, and the calm water makes it a fun excursion no matter your experience. After a day out on the water, choose one of the many tavernas and restaurants with outside seating and dine as you watch the sun set.
The oranges and purples of the sunsets make evenings here feel almost magical. We recommend slipping into the Jacuzzi with a glass of wine to watch the sky shift shades. Afterward, you might set up the telescope and spend some time stargazing.
