Villa Guissi Spain

Villa Guissi is a lovely, traditional, four bedroom villa close to the unspoilt village of Crestatx, 10 minutes from Pollensa and Alcudia and close to the fast island roads to get about the beautiful island of Mallorca. Sleeping up to 8 guests, it is a lovely holiday home for those wanting some peace and quiet as well as access to the wonderful entertainment and activities that Mallorca has to offer.
Villa Guissi is built on a wonderful, large plot with fabulous views to the mountains. It is on a pretty, tree-lined road in this charming village. The garden is surrounded by mature trees and plants that are very well kept. The swimming pool is set amongst the lawned garden with comfy sun loungers surrounding it. There is so much room for children to play. The covered terrace and dining area is perfect for alfresco barbecues.
The spacious living room is very comfortable and so light with two sets of doors opening to the glorious garden as well as windows. The kitchen area is bright and cheerful with a useful breakfast bar, again with doors leading to the garden. The bedrooms are huge with beamed ceilings and are served by two bathrooms with walk-in showers. Three of the bedrooms have kingsize beds, and the other has twins. There is no shortage of space in this lovely villa!  Crestatx is a charming, traditional village surrounded by wonderful countryside. The villa is 2km from a supermarket, 2km from Sa Pobla village, 10km from a fantastic sandy beach and 45km from the airport. It is a great location for any guests planning on cycling in Mallorca. The dramatic peaks of the Tramuntana Mountains, formidable limestone cliffs, Moorish villages and the snow-white sands provide an exceptional blend of riding including stunning coastal roads, quiet country lanes and breathtaking climbs. Sa Pobla is close to the villa. It is an unspoilt working town with a wonderful market twice a week for fabulous fresh produce – a great place to stock up! There are also lovely restaurants, bars and cafes. In just 10 minutes you can be in the charming town of Alcudia. Alcudia has an exceptional architectural heritage with traces of human presence back to the 8th century BC. There are many ruins to admire as well as interesting historical buildings such as the Church of Sant Jaume, the Chapel of Sant Crist and La Sala. The Medieval Old Town is so charming with its intricate walls, cobbled streets, amazing restaurants and bars, evening entertainment with live music and plays, and it has a wonderful open-air market within the walls.
The marina is a real hub of activity with bars, restaurants and luxury yachts. You can arrange many boat trips from the marina. The beach at Alcudia is very popular with fine white sand and dazzling clear sea. You will find watersports, bars and cafes. There are also numerous coves and small beaches as well as a set of small islands and islets. Pollensa is an authentic, honey-stoned Mallorcan town oozing charm. It is so lovely to amble around the cobbled streets stopping off excellent cafes and shops. The old town walls are so majestic. The main square is a great place to stop for a coffee and people watch. There is a good Sunday market with a bustling atmosphere and delicious food stands.
The 365 Calvari Steps lead from the Placa Major to the top of the town where you can enjoy the spectacular views. It is well worth the climb. There is also a lovely little church to visit at the top. The beach at Puerto Pollensa is stunning with white sand and shallow, warm water. A short ride away is the stunning Formentor Lighthouse which sits perched on the edge of the peninsular.
