Deluxe Longa Spain

Deluxe Longa is located on the eastern coast of the island of Menorca, this Balearic island with its warm Mediterranean climate is known for its relaxing atmosphere, delicious seafood, beautiful sandy beaches and stunning scenery. The villa is situated a 15-minute drive from Menorca Airport and a 10-minute drive from the island’s capital city of Mahon.

This beautiful villa is spread over 2 floors and has a lovely mix of traditional and contemporary décor throughout. This property comes with 4 bedrooms so can accommodate up to 8 guests, making it a great choice for a bigger group. 
When entering the villa’s main entrance, you will find yourself on the first floor of the property where the main living areas are located. There is a fully equipped kitchen, with a small table and chairs set and a large serving hatch connecting it to the dining area. The lounge and diner are spacious with a big table and comfy seating, making it a lovely social space. 

The main balcony can be accessed through this area or through the kitchen, from here you can admire the stunning sea and harbour views. The balcony is covered, and there is an outdoor dining set and extra seating, a lovely space to spend a warm summer evening. There is also an additional guest toilet on this level, a separate laundry room and a garage. 

The lower level can either be accessed through the internal staircase or via the external steps that connect the main balcony to the pool area. On the ground level, you will find 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms, 1 of the rooms has a double bed while the other 3 have twin beds which can be pushed together or kept separate for easier sharing arrangements. 3 of the bedrooms have direct access to the terrace and pool area.

Deluxe Longa offers a lovely relaxing and spacious outdoor area surrounded by greenery and beautiful views. Firstly you will come across the shaded terrace which offers extra seating and a table tennis table for a bit of competitive fun, from here take a small step down to the decked area where the sun loungers and private swimming pool are located, waiting for you to take a refreshing dip or lay back and soak up the sun. 

The large garden can be accessed by descending a few steps from the pool area, at the bottom, you will find a traditional brick barbecue and utility area and a picnic table set under a charming pergola, a great place for cooking up a meal and enjoying each others company. For the best views take the steps situated at the back of the villa up to the rooftop balcony.

Deluxe Longa is located in the laid back neighbourhood of Cala Llonga on the north bank of Mahon Harbour and is mainly surrounded by typical Mediterranean scenery and similar rental properties. Due to the community’s hillside position, it offers stunning views of the coastline and natural harbour. There is a small and handy supermarket located at a 10-minute walk from the villa.

The closest beach is Sa Mesquida which is located at a 10-minute drive from Deluxe Longa. This beach offers a spacious and scenic sandy shore with clear water. The area is great for activities such as snorkelling, diving and surfing. The amenities on site are quite limited, there are toilets and parking available, and during peak season there are facilities for hiring sunbeds and umbrellas, a lifeguard on duty and an ice cream van. The closest restaurant to Sa Mesquida beach is Cap Roig at a 5-minute drive, this popular eatery offers stunning coastal views and is a great place to try some traditional Spanish cuisine and fresh seafood.

At an 8 minute drive from the villa, you will find the historical Mola Fortress located at the entrance of Mahon port. This vast and impressive 19th-century fortress offers plenty of stunning coastline and harbour viewpoints and areas to explore such as the moat, prison, underground tunnels and large naval guns. To learn about the fortress in more detail, you can take a guided tour, or you can hire a buggy or bike to go out and explore the extensive grounds at your own pace.

The beautiful busty capital of Menorca is located at a 10-minute drive from Deluxe Longa. The city of Mahon offers plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets and shops. Some of the top things to do include visiting the Museum of Menorca which is located within a 17th-century monastery, walking around the old town, taking a guided boat tour of the harbour, visiting the Xoriguer Gin distillery and browsing the local market. While in the city, make sure you sample some of the local delicacies such as Mahon cheese, cod meatballs and the famous lobster stew.
