Villa Cantik Pandawa balances the heritage of Balinese design with clean, contemporary lines and framed vintage art. Luxurious and tranquil, the villa sits just 4 Km from the beach and has a traditional Alang-Alang roof which makes the villa feel just like one of Bali’s beautiful temples with a serene atmosphere to match! The formality of the design is softened by the gentle flow of indoor and outdoor spaces and to top it off, Villa Cantik Pandawa has an abundance of space and can accommodate up to twelve people in the six double bedrooms!
Throughout the fully staffed villa, a variety of wood finishes has been used to create a chic yet cosy feel. Rustic dark wooden ceilings are juxtaposed with patterned panels and doors, which have been sourced from all over Indonesia.
As you walk into this holiday home there is a genuine ambience of paradise feel. The living room and kitchen look out over the pool, so as you start your day, you can look out towards your holiday retreat, and watch happy travellers having a morning dip.
Moving outside into the garden, enjoy the soothing sounds of the ocean on the comfy sun loungers. There’s also plenty of room to relax and socialise in the outside area and enjoy the serene atmosphere.One of the most striking features of the villa is the two-level swimming pool – a superb photo opportunity, perfectly placed so you don’t even need to leave the villa to watch the magical Balinese sunset.
There are six spacious bedrooms that can sleep up to twelve people, all sumptuously finished, set over two floors. The lucky guests in the master suite can step straight out onto the private sea-view balcony.  There’s an enormous king size bed, a dressing area and seating area. The master bathroom even has an outdoor shower and bathtub!
The other bedrooms open straight out onto the pool terrace, ideal for those who want to take quick refreshing dips before their slumber! The beds in these rooms are also king size and can be split into twin beds if required and are decorated with stunning patterned bedspreads. The bathrooms are filled with fresh foliage and one even has a striking oval bathtub where you can try a Balinese flower petal bath!Villa Cantik Pandawa is located in the south of The Bukit Peninsula, the villa sits atop a forested hill from where the scenic views of the Indian see can be admired.
The Bukit Peninsula is one of the most touristic areas of Bali and well known as a suffer destination around the world.The closest beach to the villa is Pandawa beach, just 4 km away situated behind the mountains and is a well-known beach for water sports.
Ten minutes’ drive is the paradisiac hidden spot, Green Bowl Beach! Take a walk along the elaborated three hundred concrete steps surrounded by exotic trees that start near Pura Batu Pageh temple, and enjoy the azure water while you explore the caves and see the bats and monkeys.
A bit further is Balangan Beach, another paradisiac beach surrounded by palm trees and white sugar sand bays with parasols to protect you from the sun!
For the more spiritually inclined, the famous, beautifully constructed temple Pura Luhur Ulu Watu on the south that is on the jutting tip of a land, At sunset, walk around the clifftop to the left of the temple to lose some of the crowd and stay to watch the popular Kecak dance that is held on the temple
Jimbaran Fish market located thirty minutes away from the villa is a popular stop on the Bukit peninsula, with a Pinteresque landscape of brightly painted boats along the shore where you can find fresh hacked sardines, langoustines, crabs, lobster, squid and many varied types of seafood!
You can get fish barbecued at the market or take it back to the villa to create your own seafood feast. It’s a great way to meet some locals!In the same area is one of the Bali’s best beaches Jimbaran Beach, where the bay is protected by an unbroken coral reef and you find many places for a snack cocktail or a dinner, contemplating the Balinese sunsets as a background.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
