This stunning villa is one of two in a small complex on the hillside in the tranquil Kolios area of Skiathos. Villa Sporades is decorated and furnished in a contemporary style and boasts two exquisite bedroom suites, ideal for a family of four or two couples. There is a villa sofabed that guests can use for an extra two guests.
Skiathos boasts astonishing scenery, ancient monasteries, designer shopping, a splendid dining scene, more than 60 breathtaking beaches and a lush, mountainous interior. Kolios is a peaceful resort, 6 km from the tourist centre of Skiathos Town. It boasts a pretty, sweeping bay backed by pine trees and atmospheric tavernas. You can easily travel around this beautiful island by car, moped, bike or by bus.
Situated in an alluring, lush location surrounded by olive trees, almond trees and vines, Villa Sporades boasts astonishing sea views of Kolios Bay and the turquoise Aegean Sea. With only two villas in the complex, the location is very peaceful and secluded. The decor of the sister villa is classic and homely, but Villa Sporades is contemporary and minimalist. It features a concrete kitchen island, modern, trendy furnishings, funky art, chic tiling and streamlined style. If you are taking a holiday with another family, it is possible to book both villas and enjoy this splendid setting together.
The trendy living, kitchen and dining area is open-plan and extremely bright, illuminated through the large doors opening onto the terrace. The living area is very comfortable and incredibly stylish. Upstairs, the two-bedroom suites are superb. They boast luxurious in-room whirlpool baths as well as excellent shower rooms, sensational beds with ecological and orthopaedic mattresses and furnished sea-view balconies. One of the bedrooms has a fabulous textured feature wall which is stunning. There are three bathrooms in total in the villa, each with a fantastic rain forest shower as well as quality bath products, bathrobes and slippers.
The outside space of Villa Sporades compliments the contemporary interior with fabulous, stylish furnishings. The terrace offers a fabulous swimming pool, modern sunbathing area with sun loungers and parasols, alfresco dining, a barbecue, alfresco lounge area, an outdoor shower and stunning gardens with a lush lawn and beautiful planting. You really will not want to spend very much time inside this villa, even though it is gorgeous!
Guests will be delighted by the excellent Concierge services including delivery of supermarket supplies, daily breakfast and private chef services, extra cars and scooters, boat rental and private boat trips, babysitting and personal training.   Skiathos, one of the four inhabited Sporades islands, is best known for its breathtaking beaches and its buzzing nightlife. Th mainly centres around Skiathos Town where chic and trendy cocktail bars and restaurants spill out onto the sidewalks of the two harbours and the pedestrian Papadiamanti Street.
There is more to this glorious island though than the beaches and nightlife. The mountainous terrain, luscious leafy landscape and wild beaches of the northern coast can be explored by mountain bike, scooters, driving or hiking. The rippling hills are carpeted with olive trees, almond trees and scented pines. There are numerous hidden-away Byzantine churches and monasteries and atmospheric villages to visit.
Lalaria Beach is the most photographed beach in Skiathos. It can only be reached by boat, so it is a fantastic excursion. You will be in awe of the incredible rock formations on the white pebbled beach. Huge cliffs rise from the deep crystal clear sea, making a heavenly picture-postcard scene. Also incredibly popular is Koukounaires Beach, which is 6 km from the villa. It is very well organised with beach bars, sun loungers, umbrellas and thrilling watersports. Banana Beach can be very crowded. It is popular with nudists and offers a gorgeous scene with pine and olive trees as a backdrop. Agia Paraskevi is one of the longest beaches on the island. Achladies Beach is close to Skiathos Town and is very popular with families. There are good watersports facilities, including windsurfing and waterskiing. Kolios Bay is a lovely, quiet bay with two tavernas, sun loungers and parasols. It is edged by pine woods, so there is plenty of shade. The larger beaches of Vromolimnos and Platanias are either side of it. There are over 60 stunning golden beaches in total.
It is best to visit the picturesque, whitewashed Skiathos Town in the evening. You can enjoy some drinks at the trendy cocktail bars or traditional taverners and dinner at a waterfront, harbour restaurant. Skiathos Town also boasts fantastic designer shopping. The most important site to visit in the town is the Museum of Alexandros Papadiamantis. It is housed inside the family house of the famous Greek author.
Skiathos is a wonderful base for island hopping. The Sporades island complex boasts a natural green landscape, stunning azure waters and fabulous beaches.
