Furygan K11 X Kevlar Jeans

These days I generally ride in jeans and a jacket. I find it comfortable and like the way it looks and with modern technology being employed, it still provides good protection.

I’ve used a few brands and styles of jeans but am currently wearing Furygan K11 X Kevlar Jeans and loving them.

Furygan were Founded in 1969 as a glove manufacturer. Over time they have used their expertise to evolved and expanded, and now offer a huge range of clothing from leather and textile suits, jackets and trousers, boots, gloves and more. They are know for a high quality product that looks great, distributed in 43 coutries.

The K11 X Kevlar Jeans are really comfortable with a slightly narrow leg, not bagger, flapping about in the wind. I can’t fit a tall boot under them but this isn’t a problem as I wear short boots for street riding anyway. They have a button fly and two buttons on the waist band so if you happen to over indulge at the bike cafe, Furygan have you covered.

Usually, motorcycle jeans have pretty bulky protection on the knees and hips, but Furygan and D3O have a long standing relationship and these K11 X Kevlar jeans are the fruits of this labour, benefitting from D3O’s high quality and technically advanced protection and Furygan’s high standardsof quality.

If you’re not familiar with D3O it’s worth taking 5 minutes to Google them. In brief, D3O is the market leader in impact protection and shock absorption solutions, across a wide range of motorcports and adventure sports, where high performing protection can save your life.

Their technology is being used by some of the world’s biggest brands, including Fyrgan of course.

These jeans have D3O’s Ghost armour which is a wonder to behold. This armour is thin, so thin you can’t believe it will do anything, but it meets the highest standards. The armour is in the usual places; hips and knees, and the fabris is 100% Mono layer Kevlar® reinforced denim for optimized protection against abrasion, heat and cut all over the trousers.

There is a this inner lining, but it’s this is just for comfort and not protection.

These Furgan jeans are AAA CE rated too, which is the highest rating for abrasion resistance and build quality.

These have my go to jeans this year. The D3O Ghost armour means they are easy to wear and when you’re off the bike at your destination, they don’t really look like bike jeans.

As the nights draw in and the days become colder and wetter, winter tightening it’s grip on the world, I might even treat them to a wash……
