Picture yourself cosying up on the sofa with a hot chocolate, soaking up views of snowy pines from the balcony, or cooking up a storm in the singularly well-equipped kitchen (there’s even a Swiss fondue set from the 60s). Kids will love the colourful second bedroom with its timber bunk and extra single bed, and we’re big fans of the body jets in the shower. Part of an apartment complex, this home is in a serene forest setting and yet in the middle of everything Breckenridge has to offer. You’re within walking distance of Peaks 7 and 8, and on the bus route to the ski resort, so getting about is a breeze. You can also take the bus to Main Street’s fabulous restaurants in the evening – with the lights twinkling and a light dusting of snow, it’s like a scene from a snowglobe.
