Inspired by the ‘Moose King’ story, this impressive home juts out of the Breckenridge hills. Cathedral-like beamed ceilings, moose heads, and wooden floors put a grand spin on the traditional mountain lodge, with a towering stone fireplace characterising the living space. There’s still plenty of cosiness, we love the further three fireplaces that are perfect for cuddling up after a day skiing the nearby mountains, as well as the downstairs games room, with a pool table for socialising. When you’re done skiing or hiking one of the nearby trails, head back to the plot for soaks in the outdoor hot tub or drinks on the patio, with the valley providing one beautiful backdrop.

* You may have to snuggle round the downstairs fireplaces as the bedroom fireplace does not currently work
* If you want to explore the local surroundings it is advised you organize a car for your stay
* The balcony off the Master Bedroom is not accessible for guests
