When it comes to the interior, unsurprisingly there’s an abundance of wood in the furnishings and finishes, a fireplace to gather around and moose antler lighting – it must be said that the kitchen is pretty sleek, though. If the weather’s ever too cold to venture out, there’s a pool table that will help you while away the hours.
You don’t need us to tell you that there are a wealth of hiking routes and peaks to climb nearby, but you aren’t completely in the back of beyond here. There’s a grocery store twelve minutes’ drive away, while the city of Colorado Springs is well within range for a day trip.
