That’s why we’re such fans of this gorgeous penthouse home in Telluride, high above the peaks and slopes with a jaw-dropping view of Mount Wilson from your private balcony. A traditional gas fire invites you to pour a glass of port and pull up an armchair the moment you return from the slopes; though with complimentary ski-in, ski-out access arranged by your hosts, it’s hardly an arduous trip to the ski lifts. If you’re in need of even more pampering, soak in your own spa-like tub, or head downstairs to the actual spa – this lofty home really does set the bar high.
