Though Telluride is renowned as a top destination for skiers, hikers and the like, this cosy home is positioned close to a range of attractions in Downtown Telluride that will suit guests looking for a bit of culture, too. It’s a short walk to Town Park, (which puts on a great range of festivals throughout the year), the Telluride Gallery of Fine Art, and great eating spots Smuggler’s Brewpub and Telluride Bistro. The home is cosy and comfortable, and has everything a couple or small family would want. We loved the fireplace and the barbecue on the private deck; the views of nearby mountains are breathtaking in both summer and winter.

* This home has no air conditioning, which could pose a problem during the summer months
* Located just one block away from busy Main Street, this won’t be the quietest home in Telluride
* There’s only one bathroom – if two couples are staying you’ll have to share
* There is a bunk bed in the second bedroom which can accommodate an extra two guests, though children are probably the most ideally suited
