A cosy library and welcoming TV room provide plenty of space for some private relaxation. The highlight is the cellar, converted into a prestigious Spa and Sauna where you will feel like a king.
The ground floor also boasts a superb vast room with a capacity of 50 seated people along with a separate function room comprising of a catering area and with a capacity of 250 people. 
Outside the castle, nestled among 80 hectares of luxuriant woodland, enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool. This little haven also has a lush, scented garden and a set of tables and colorful chairs. Explore the surrounding area on the bikes made available to you and keep in mind that several toys and games for children are also provided. 
Next to the main building, there are two 3-star rated lovely cottages, sleeping 6 and 8 guests respectively.

We also provide extra-beds for an extra daily fee, bringing maximum capacity up to 31 guests.   Vendeuvre-du-Poitou, whose original Celtic name was ‘Vindobriga’, is a gorgeous village at the foot of a hill in a peaceful rural district in the heart of the Poitou-Charentes region.
Traces of history can be found everywhere: visit the Roman church of Saint Aventin, the Gallo-Roman site of Les Tours Mirandes and philosopher Michel Foucalt’s grave. 
Futuroscope (17km) is a famed visual media themed park – a great attraction for adults and children alike and just a short journey away.

The nearest airport is Poitiers, just 17 km away. The city is steeped in history, offering numerous opportunities for day trips and chances to explore the narrow medieval streets and churches of the town.
The celebrated vineyards of Cognac and the Loire Valley are also very close by and open to tours and tasting sessions.
Last but not least, the surrounding area is a paradise for sport and nature  enthusiasts: country walks, tennis courts, golf fields, cycle paths, an equestrian and a kayaking centre are also available within a very short distance of the chateau.
