Chalet Chanson is a warm and inviting six bedroomed semi-detached alpine chalet with modern amenities perfect for larger families and groups of friends. Surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Chamonix Valley and enjoying close proximity to some of the most spectacular skiing terrain in Europe, this is the ideal spot to enjoy Alpine living at it best.
On the boarder of the hamlets of Les Grassonnets and Les Chosalets, Chalet Chanson commands stunning views at its tranquil location. Quiet and serene. It is only 3 minutes’ drive to the Grand Montets ski lift. A short drive takes you into the heart of Argentiere a charming authentic mountain village with several local restaurants, cafes and patisseries, a wonderful ski school and all the essential shops you should need. The unforgettable après-ski scene at Chamonix town is only 12 minutes’ drive away.
The Chamonix Valley offers unmissable skiing and winter sports at every level.  With its fabulous scenery and stunning landscapes ideal for hiking or mountain biking. Chalet Chanson is the perfect choice for outdoor enthusiasts any time of the year, local activities include sky diving, horse riding and golf as well an amazing array of winter sports activities. Guests will love this relaxing characterful retreat after each exhilarating adventure.
The property features flexible living on three levels. The open living space on the ground floor oozes warmth and comfort, large squashy sofas, a wood burning fire, toasty underfloor heating, open beams and warm woods make it the perfect retreat to kick back and relax, cooking is going to be fun in the open kitchen equipped with dishwasher, microwave, oven, induction hob, fridge, kettle and coffee machine. Serve up hearty feasts with stunning views at the comfortable wooden dining table. There is an additional snug area on the mezzanine where you snuggle up on beanbags and watch TV.
The inviting king sized master bedroom is located on the ground floor and enjoys an en-suite with a bath tub and shower.
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, 2 simple but stylish double bedrooms, one enjoying balcony access. The third bedroom is flexible with two single beds that can easily convert to a double bed. There is a full family bathroom upstairs with both bathtub and shower.
Downstairs in the basement are two further bedrooms one a gorgeous double with wonderful views and a compact and cosy single bedroom, the basement houses a convenient modern shower room and a wonderful Sauna perfect to relax and revitalize.
Chalet Chanson includes an underground garage for 2 cars, boot driers, laundry facilities free Wi-Fi and ample ski storage.

Les Grands Montets offers excellent snow conditions and has slopes for every level. The formidable pistes of the Chamonix terrain attract first class skiers and thrill seekers alike and Les Grands Montets has the reputation of one of the best off-piste ski areas in the Alps.Chamonix offers novice and intermediate skiers some wonderful training slopes and Les Houches is perfect for beginners with its large upper plateau.
Les Grands Montets has three distinctive zones, the lower mountain area between Argentière Village and the main station of Lognan at 1972m, the mixed alpine terrain from Lognan to Borchard at 2765m and the steeper alpine terrain which includes the Argentière glacier up to 3275m.
Much of the area is above the tree line with the upper skiing areas located on a glacier, accessed by a second cable car. The view from the top lift station jaw-dropping There are 8 main lifts with 2 gondolas, 2 cable cars and 4 chair lifts and overall there are 4 black runs, 13 red runs, 8 blues and 2 green runs.
Chamonix is a fully functioning all year round resort. Les Grands Montets offers fabulous scenery, stunning landscapes, ice-falls in the Chamonix Valley, waterfalls and many paths to explore on foot or mountain bike making the area a wonderful place to see throughout the year. There are many attractions to enjoy including a cable car ride to the summit where you can enjoy the L’Aiguille Verte, Les Droites and Les Drus peaks or for a different thrill you can book a tandem paragliding flight from a 3220m altitude. Not to be missed is the snow garden situated at the top of Grands Montets, constructed and maintained by the piste team
The tree-top climbing Accro Adventure Park and rock-climbing crag in Lac des Gaillands are also not to be missed.
Argentière is a truly charming and authentic village located only a few minutes’ drive from the property. Argentière offers a wonderful selection of local restaurants, patisseries, shops and bars alongside a beautiful Baroque-style church.Argentière is also home to several fantastic hiking paths you can climb up to Lac Blanc for stunning views of Mont Blanc!
The town of Chamonix is only eight minutes’ drive away and is utterly charming with its unique Victorian architecture and pedestrianised town centre. The town is buzzing from early evening when après ski time begins!
