The beach and the old town
The Boulevard de la Croisette runs along the bay, lined with palm trees, grand hotels and private beaches, with the Palais des Festivals at one end. Above the old port, Le Suquet is the original fishing village, with steep lanes, restaurants and a view over the bay from its castle tower, and the Forville market is one of the best on the coast.
