Together with the next door ski area of Tignes, the area of Espace Killy offers an impressive number of pistes and lifts, not to mention breathtaking panorama with its dramatic Grande Motte glacier. With seven bedrooms, Chalet Mare is perfect for two or three families, groups of friends or family get togethers. With gorgeous beams, a vaulted ceiling, squishy sofas, a fabulous, roaring, contemporary log burner and alpine charm, it is a gorgeous space where the whole group can get together. Drinks are part of the package too and include hot drinks, juices, beer, red and white wine and Crème de Cassis for pre-dinner cocktails. The hot and cold breakfasts, cakes, biscuits, clementines, fruit, nuts, crisps, aperitif crackers and three course dinners are delicious. Everything is very simple to put together taking little effort and no menu planning or shopping. Dishes can simply be put in the oven to be heated through. If the likes of pumpkin soup, goat’s cheese salads, French charcuterie, chicken in a red wine sauce, hake with rice and vegetable gratin, duck in a cep mushroom sauce, French Normandy apple tart, lemon tart or chocolate brownies don’t do it for you, there is another a la carte option for an extra charge. Of course, there are also options for vegans and vegetarians.
