Chateau Marquise Beranger France
Holiday Home Rental Description
Set in 130 acres of parkland and ancient woodland, bordered by the River Dronne, Chateau Marquise Beranger is a beautifully restored Renaissance-style château which offers elegant charm, supreme comfort and complete relaxation. A delightful blend of rolling hills, forest and waterways surrounds this magnificent place, where guests get the opportunity to relax and explore the Dordogne, the Charente, and the Bordeaux region.
A lot of importance is placed on relaxation at the Chateau. Strolling in the grounds, chilling out in elegant luxury, relaxing in the swimming pool, and wine or chocolate tasting, are some of the options.
Chateau Marquise Beranger is a rare breed. Its grounds are a study in indigenous flora and fauna: rare 19th-century trees, springtime nightingales, migrating Siberian cranes in autumn, tree frogs, otters and deer. Muck about in the river, grab a bike to pedal around, trek on horseback, climb sequoia trees: hotel life here is buckets of outdoor fun.
The French chateau is situated where the Périgord Vert and the South Charente meet, a delightful blend of rolling hills, forest and waterways. Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, classified as one of Les Plus Beaux Villages de la France, is just five minutes away. A magnificent place to relax with the opportunity to explore the Dordogne, the Charente, Cognac and the Bordeaux region.
Rest, leisure, cultural visits or sport activies, you can organize your stay to match your desires. The chateau is in the perfect spot for losing oneself in the upper Dordogne, it is a mile or so from the hamlet of Petit-Bersac on the Dronne River. Very close to Aubeterre, a very typical french village with good restaurants. 45km from St Emilion, Angouleme, Perigueux and Bergerac.
The Dordogne offers guests a relaxing holiday in its tranquil surroundings and the opportunity for outdoor activities all year round. The Château and hotel restaurant is perfect for exploring the Dordogne, the Charente, and the Bordeaux region.
