A haven of peace and tranquility, this impressive 20 ensuite bedroom Chateau, set on a hill in 60 acres of woods and parkland, has plenty of space both inside and out, with comfortable en-suite accommodation – for parties of up to 40.
The Chateau is ideal for special Family celebrations – Holidays, Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries – as well as corporate Events, Conferences, Seminars, film and photo shoots. There is a lovely 14x7m swimming pool, a tennis court and a boules pitch. The attractive Bastide town of Eymet is only 5 minutes away, Bergerac airport only 30 minutes away, and Bordeaux 1.5 hours!
This medieval Chateau is a former stronghold of the Templars and its origin dates back to the 14th Century. A long driveway up through the trees leads you to the Chateau which sits in a prominent position overlooking the beautiful French countryside.
The reception rooms include a large reception hall, study, library and two living rooms. These are spacious with lots of character. These rooms and the bedroom accommodation are linked by a walkway to the former stables which have been fully converted to provide a large semi-professional kitchen, a dining room and snug as well as a bar and additional dining seating area. In total there are 20 bedrooms available and each have their own en-suite bath or shower room.
There is a 14m x 8m swimming pool which is south facing and has a shower-room and pavilion room. There are plenty of sun recliners and parasol for those who love to sit in the sun or shade! For the more energetic, there is a Tennis Court and a Boules pitch. There is a large outdoor dining area with BBQ facilities.
The Chateau has numerous different terraces and exterior areas for outdoor living. There are formal lawns and formal gardens which are ideal for wedding photographs, yet at the same time there are grassy meadows and long woodland walks.

The Dordogne river-side town of Bergerac with its International Airport is just 25kms away. Ryanair flies here from London Stansted, Liverpool, Nottingham, and Bristol. Flybe flies into Bergerac from London Gatwick, Southampton, Exeter and Edinburgh. There are also interconnecting flights to Belfast, Glasgow, Dundee and Newcastle with Flybe. Jet2 flies to Leeds Bradford Airportand Transvania flies to Rotterdam. Twinjet also now flies from Bergerac to Paris.
Bordeaux airport is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes drive away (165kms) and is a much larger Airport with carries airliners such as British Airways, EasyJet and Ryanair.

This Chateau is great for large parties and functions. There are three large receptions rooms in the main Chateau including a large entrance Hall, a library, and a formal Drawing Room. There is also a small study area. The converted stables which are joined to the Chateau by a walkway provide additional reception rooms with a Dining Room, Sitting Room and Bar which are ideal for wedding and anniversary parties.
There is a semi-professional kitchen which is well equipped with all the modern facilities you could need. There is also a small kitchen area off the library back in the main Chateau building.
There are 20 bedrooms in total and all of them have en-suite shower or bath rooms. They are set out over 3 levels and are connected by an impressive and original stone spiral staircase.
In all cases, full exclusivity is given of the Chateau and its facilities and grounds.
The owners live on site in separate accommodation and are able to provide assistance and further services should guests require but otherwise they will ensure complete privacy is given to all guests.

The pace of life in the Dordogne is languid, laid back and positively infectious. Relax in bucolic beauty as you drift along the Dordogne River, or wander among the forests and hillside of the Périgord Natural Park.
The foodie scene too, is a relaxed affair. Take your time over your lazy lunches of local duck, black truffles and goats cheese. If you’re feeling energetic, you can even hunt for them yourself. The wine here is second to none, with infamous grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chenin Blanc all having a huge presence here.
The Dordogne is also brimming with history. Castles and chateaux are scattered throughout the region, among the enchanting medieval villages. History of an altogether more ancient sort can also be explored in the incredible prehistoric cave drawings of Lascaux and Grotte de Rouffignac.
