On the south of Montpellier, between the sea and garrigue, the Chateau De Valjoyeuse has been recently renovated by a famous international architect with a combination of history, contemporary elements and design furniture. The 160 hectares property, with 60 hectares of vineyard and 100 hectares garrigue, also enjoys a 3 hectare park and a 9th century chapel at the castle.
The property is one of the best wine producer of Languedoc-Roussillon, with wines regularly awarded in the most prestigious wine magazine (Bettane&Desseauve, La Revue du Vin de France). A 13 metre swimming pool and a tennis court will keep you fit and busy!
3km far from Montagnac, on the way to Meze. 12 km far from the touristic town of Pezenas 40mn on the south of Montpellier. 30mn far from the sea. Unfortunately, there are no transport services near the property so a car rental is highly recommended.French breakfast are offered. A cleaning lady and a gardener work on the property.
