Finca Abogat is situated in an idyllic location on a gentle hill that offers a lovely warm summer breeze over both the colourful extensive gardens and private swimming pool.
The drive to this traditional Spanish farmhouse takes you along blissfully picturesque roads leading through numerous orange groves and charming little villages where time would appear to have stood still.
Finca Abogat is located just outside the peaceful village of Barxeta , where you will find a small selection of shops, restaurants and exceptionally friendly and hospitable locals. In nearby Xativa, the former capital of the province of Valencia and only 9 kilometres away, you can find all the amenities a city of this stature offers. Originally this was a charming Spanish orange farm, but the proud owners have meticulously refurbished their delightful property into a very welcoming and comfortable holiday home.
The exteriors are expansive, colourful and appealing for people of all ages, offering spectacular views, a lovely private swimming pool and acres of space for children to run around and play.
It takes about 30 minutes to drive into Valencia where you will find a pleasingly cosmopolitan atmosphere, with large promenades, wonderful shopping and a wide array of restaurants and traditional tapas bars. Facilities in the area include golf, mountain and road cycling and of course numerous fabulous beaches.
Valencia is a very popular destination for those seeking a typically Spanish holiday. The area of Barxeta, Genoves and Xativa, which are slightly off the beaten track, yet only a 35-minute drive from Valencia airport offers an eclectic selection of activities for all the family. Days out can be spent in the stunningly picturesque Spanish countryside, and for beach lovers, the nearby beach at Tavernes is less than a 15-minute drive away. As for food and drink, well you could not be better placed, as the selection of excellent tapas bars and typical Spanish restaurants is simply endless, not to mention the delicious local wines and sherries.
