Rent Home Navy Pomelo
Holiday Home Rental Description
Although this address is under an hour’s drive from Melbourne, it feels like a true rustic escape. The home itself was once used as a workshop in which flowers were dried for use in decorations — there are even instructions on how to do it yourself here — but today you’ll find a charming space with high cathedral ceilings, bright walls and quirky design elements.
What makes it really stand out, however, is the outdoor space and the sheer range of options it gives visitors. The garden spreads across two-thirds of an acre and features a vegetable garden, beehives, chicken pens and plenty of flowers. In this peaceful environment, there’s a day bed and hammock in which to doze off, a small swimming pool and a covered deck that’s sure to be the scene of sunset drinks.
Better still, guests get access to the hosts’ beach box, which has equipment for snorkelling and towels available to borrow. When you want to see more of the local bushland, Moorooduc Quarry Flora And Fauna Reserve sits ten minutes’ walk away and Mount Eliza Regional Park can be found just beyond that.
