With the magnificent sights of Nelson’s Dockyard and the crystal-clear waters of Pigeon Point Beach only a short walk away, the villa offers the ideal setting in which to unwind with your loved ones whilst soaking up the warm Caribbean sunshine.
Begin your island retreat with a dip in the private swimming pool at Avalyna Cottage, where you will be enchanted by the views of the white sandy beach and the turquoise bay below. Should you wish to spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool, there are comfortable sun loungers on the terrace, providing you with the perfect spot to while away the afternoon with a good book as the gentle breeze blows in from the ocean.
If you begin to feel a little peckish, ascend the short flight of stairs to the villa’s covered patio, where you will find an ample outdoor dining area and barbecue facilities. The covered patio wraps around two sides of Avalyna Cottage, with plenty of seating options available to guests. The views from the dining table are truly breathtaking at sunset. The patio flows seamlessly into the open plan living space of Avalyna Cottage, where you will find a delightful lounge area with high, vaulted ceilings. The exposed wooden beams and characterful décor of the lounge reflect the laidback charm of life on Antigua. The comfortable sofas and welcoming ambience make this the perfect place to relax after a day spent exploring the wonders of the island. There is a compact, well-appointed kitchen featured in the space, where you will also find a separate pantry and everything you might need to prepare a delicious homecooked meal using the local produce you have discovered.
The villa’s charming master bedroom features a king-size bed with a four-poster frame, as well as an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom in Avalyna Cottage can be arranged as a twin room or a double room. This understated room includes traditional furnishings and an en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned, and feature fitted ceiling fans, ensuring that your nights are as restful as your days are relaxing.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, this eighteenth-century British naval dockyard is an area of great historical significance on the island, as well as a popular venue for maritime events and activities.
Nelson’s Dockyard offers visitors plenty of fabulous trekking trails, with breathtaking sights along the way. You might consider visiting Shirley Heights, a restored military lookout with panoramic views and the home of a famous Sunday evening party, where visitors are invited to come and take part in the festivities. Listen to live Caribbean steel drum bands, try some of the local food and rum punch and discover amazing sunset views of the island.
The Antiguan capital of St. John’s is well worth a visit.
