Seclude yourself away at the foot of the Catskills and spend days hiking the unspoiled trails at this grand family chalet-style home. Your only neighbours are the birch trees, and days can be spent dining on the deck, soaking in the hot tub and huddling around the garden firepit as the sky speckles with stars.
Head inside, to the grand, double-height living room with its wall of windows letting in a view of the trees. Cosy up by the big wood-burning stove on chilly evenings, or head down to the lower sitting room for a movie night and games of skee ball. The gourmet kitchen is ultra-modern, but raw wood and ink-black accents keep a zen calm about the whole home. Should you need to work remotely, there’s a dedicated office room with a sofa bed for additional guests.
You’re away from it all here, but a less than ten-minute drive sees you in the idyllic hamlet of Windham with its diners, country shop and winter adventure park. Windham Mountain attracts skiers and snowboarders in ski season too.
