Maison Lucq is a lovingly restored 19th century farmhouse nestled in a hectare of grounds, amongst rolling countryside, with breathtaking views of the Pyrenean Mountains as a backdrop.
Just 2kms outside the picturesque village of Lucq de Bearn it is a haven of tranquility. The long sandy surfing beaches of the Atlantic Coast or the Mountain slopes are less than an hour away. The house is secluded and private, light and airy, spacious and comfortable, it has been decorated in natural calming colours and furnished to encourage an air of tranquility and relaxation. The rustic charm of the stone exterior quickly reveals an elegant yet comfortable home that offers every modern convenience.
The morning room, is a lovely light and spacious room with views of the mountains. Sumptuously furnished with two large sofas and an armchair, it has a large log burner. The second reception room is set up as a TV room, it has grand modular sofas ideal for lounging. There are 5 welcoming double bedrooms along with two roll-out beds, bringing the total capacity up to 12 guests.
The substantial kitchen and dining room seating for 12, is a chef’s delight! However, you’ll probably start and finish the day on the terrace drinking in the panorama.
Parallel to the south face of the house in its own secluded fully secured area is the large 10m x 5m swimming pool complete with roman steps. Surrounded on all four sides by patios and herbaceous borders, it is equipped with 12 sun loungers and luxury pool towels.
The bedrooms are luxuriously appointed, two of them enjoy the glorious sunsets, whilst the three larger rooms enjoy the sunrise lighting the view of the Pyrenees.
