Avlaki Beach sits quietly on the north east coast of Corfu. It is a pretty pebble beach with several tavernas set back from the beach and a sailing centre offering some excellent watersports. With emerald green waters, the beach is a fabulous spot for snorkeling and is very popular with windsurfers. Avlaki Beach is located between the villages of Agios Stefanos and the magical resort of Kassiopi.
Avlaki Beach House offers a unique sense of privacy, surrounded by its perfumed pretty gardens and its beautiful relaxation spots. It is very easy to see that this property is much loved by its owners. The attention to detail and its special touches are delightful. The main villa and the first cottage enjoy a fabulous, typically Greek colour palette of blues, whites and vanilla. Throughout, they boast bleached wooden ceilings, gorgeous art work and very attractive accessories that all blend beautifully with the sumptuous, elegant furnishings. This heavenly property exudes an air of calm serenity.
The main villa offers two double bedrooms, one with a contemporary ensuite shower room, a second shower room, a calm and serene living room and an outstanding open plan kitchen and dining area which spills out onto a gorgeous, shaded terrace. The living room enjoys a superb beamed ceiling that offers a glorious sense of space. Extravagant sofas surround the beautiful feature fireplace along with French and sliding doors that flood the room with natural light. The dining area is equally stunning and the kitchen immaculate. Visitors enjoy a wonderful selection of beach bars.
Paleokastritsa is rumoured to be the mythical island of the Phaeacians and the Bay of Paleokastritsa to be the place where Odysseus disembarked and met Nausicaa for the first time. The monastery in Paleokastritsa dates back to 1225 and is home to an interesting museum which houses the holy and precious relics of the monastery. It stands on a sheer hillside brimming with trees and olives facing the deep blue sea. The resort is very hilly and nestles beneath the folds of steep verdant slopes of olive groves and citrus orchards. Agios Spyridon is the the most famous beach in Paleokastritsa.
Within very easy reach of Avlaki Beach House is the picturesque resort of Kassiopi. With the dramatic Mount Pantokrator overlooking the resort and with a stunning harbour, this once quiet fishing village is a must visit. There is a good selection of excellent restaurants and some good shops. Visitors enjoy delightful, tranquil walks around the headland.
