You will discover fabulous hiking paths from the front door of Villa Karpos to heritage villages such as Mengoulas and Old Perithia, criss-crossing the famous, panoramic Corfu Trail. If you fancy a beach day, you can hop in the car and be on some sensational wonders in 20 minutes. The Venetian ramparts of the UNESCO heritage site of Corfu Town are just 45 minutes away. This charming villa boasts a very spacious lounge with sumptuous furnishings, a very high, fantastic beamed, vaulted ceiling and a wonderful wooden floor. Wi-Fi, satellite television, a BluRay DVD player and a Ruark R2 radio and music streaming system are all provided for your enjoyment. French doors open on one side to a gorgeous terrace where you can enjoy alfresco dining and the views and to another beautiful, semi-covered dining space on the other side. The blue tiles of the kitchen look wonderful against the dazzling white, modern cabinetry. You can cook delicious meals in this fabulous kitchen and eat in so many wonderful spots, including the kitchen’s breakfast table. There is a handy additional laundry room. The villa’s dreamy bedroom offers a superbly comfortable super kingsize bed, adorned with gorgeous voile drapes and luxury linens and a fabulous ensuite bathroom. The bedroom enjoys its own direct access to a stone terrace too. At one with nature in this enchanting spot, you may be serenaded to sleep by the scops owl sonata with the cool breeze blowing through the doors and windows. You will awake to glorious sunrises over the Albanian mountains and enjoy a delicious breakfast with these astounding vistas.

The sitting room and bedroom both face the Corfu channel and enjoy fabulous, extensive views of the lush olive groves and mountains.You will reach the fabulous Villa Karpos in one hour from the airport. Located on the hills on the edge of the hamlet of Rou, cradled by Corfu’s mountains, the villa enjoys a delightful, very scenic location with sensational panorama. There are some amazing walking paths from the front door of Villa Karpos, crossing the wonderful Corfu Trail and passing ancient, picture postcard villages. You will enjoy the friendly tavernas of Porta which you can walk to in 15 minutes or drive in 5. The nearest supermarket is in Sinies, 10 minutes away. The nearest beaches are Agni, Avlaki, Kalami, San Stefanos and Nissaki which you can reach in roughly 20 minutes.
Not far from the village, you will find Acharavi on the northern coast of Corfu. Acharavi enjoys a wonderful variety of shops, bars and restaurants which are sprinkled along the central street and along the beach promenade. Its golden beach stretches the whole length of the town, a lengthy 3km. Visitors will find plenty of loungers and umbrellas for hire and a wonderful selection of beach bars.
Closer still, in the lively north eastern corner of Corfu is the beautiful resort of Kassiopi. With the dramatic Mount Pantokrator overlooking the resort and with a stunning harbour, this once quiet fishing village is a very popular holiday resort. It boasts traditional narrow streets overlooked by the ruins of an ancient Byzantine castle. Kassiopi offers breathtaking views out to sea towards the Albanian coast as well as excellent restaurants. You will enjoy a delightful, tranquil walk around the headland.
Corfu Town or Kerkyra as it is otherwise known, is 45 minutes away in the car. It is one of the most beautiful and elegant towns in Greece. Though 7th in size, it is one of the most populated in the whole of the Ionian Islands. The town’s stunning architecture has many strong influences including Sicilian, Venetian, French and English and the town is brimming with elegant mansions, magnificent palaces, beautiful squares and majestic fortresses. The entire old city is declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. Corfu Town’s unique charm, sophistication, character, atmosphere and faultless cuisine should not be missed!
