Rental Description

Facci Lazzo is a charmingly historic Tuscan farmhouse complete with its own tower, set within extensive parkland, offering accommodation for ten guests within an authentic yet stylish setting.
Surrounded by poplar and cypress trees, with views of rolling countryside at every turn, this home is exquisitely executed for elegant outdoor living. With layers of artfully un-manicured lawns, ancient stone paved terraces and shaded pergola complete with brick-built barbecue, guests can enjoy luscious al fresco dining, whether it be dinners in the balmy evenings as the sun sets, or pool side snacks.
With orchards, vegetable gardens and acres of woods, the family or group can enjoy a taste of real Tuscany away from the madding crowds, with lazy afternoons of wine tasting, hiking or simply enjoying the tranquillity with a good book.
The interiors at Facci Lazzo are typically rustic, with home-like appeal, from the cosy living room complete with open fireplace, to the jade green patio doors offering access to the charming terrace space. With exposed timber beams, accents of pretty colour and contemporary art, this space is brimming with characterful flair.
The kitchen is a striking blend of utilitarian style with hanging Scandinavian lights, exposed shelving and timber island, with historic features and original fireplace. Whether it is a home-cooked meal making use of the vegetable garden’s herbs and produce, or a chef-prepared dinner, this sets the scene for sumptuous dining. Accents of jade green, canary yellow walls and coral upholstery uplift this ancient space.
The bedrooms are set across three storeys, with the ground floor study doubling as an optional bedroom for an eleventh (optional) guest. Each of the bedrooms on the first and second floors lend a note of personal verve, complete with vibrant colour accents, wrought-iron beds and quirky touches from the castle cut-out bedheads to eclectic art choices and bold colour. One of the bathrooms also has a unique shower, raised a few steps above ground.
The tower bedroom offers a note of fairytale romance with its own terrace and far-reaching views, whilst the master bedroom offers a sedate suite for restoration and tranquillity.
