Villa Andrea is situated in the heart of beautiful Makarska in Dalmatia, it is a beautiful property, perfect for a family holiday away. Sleeping eight guests within spacious and modern living areas, this is a great base for exploring Dalmatia. The surrounding areas offer lovely beaches and Markarska’s centre boasts restaurants, bars and shops to keep you entertained during your stay.
Inside this luxury villa there is a spacious, open-plan living area, ideal for a family. With a fully equipped-kitchen where you can prepare picnics to take down to the beach or tasty meals to enjoy on the terrace, as well as a cosy sofa area. From here there is access out to a charming balcony, boasting stunning sea views, this is the perfect spot for a romantic, evening aperitif! Throughout the property you will find four comfortable bedrooms and four bathrooms. For an extra treat, there is a small wine cellar downstairs, with space to sit, so if there is a wine enthusiast in your group, then Villa Andrea could be perfect for you!
Outside, the villa continues to impress, there is a fabulous outdoor pool perfect for kids and adults alike, where you can take a dip at any time of day, to cool off from the summer heat! Far reaching sea views steal the show, drawing your gaze to the horizon and helping melt any worries away. Comfy sun loungers are ready and waiting for you to lie back, relax and top up your tan, or take shelter under one of the sun umbrellas, finding a moment to read your favourite book. With table tennis and table football for your use, family championships are a must, kids will be kept busy! There is also space to dine al-fresco on the terrace, making use of the barbecue and long summer evenings. Villa Andrea offers something for everyone, ideal for a summer holiday away. Although a lot of people jump straight on a ferry to stay on the Croatian islands in this area, the mainland coast also offers some of the most beautiful areas, such as the lovely town of Makarska.
Through summer Makarska’s main square is filled with open-air restaurants and cafés, while behind the church, in the shade, the daily open-air market sells fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables. Along the harbour, overlooked by a string of cafés and pizzeria, wooden excursion boats offer one-day trips to Jelsa on Hvar and Zlatni Rat beach in Bol on Brac.
But the main draw here is the beaches, backed by fragrant pinewoods overlooking the glistening turquoise sea. Makarska’s town beach is a long curving stretch of pebble, behind which runs a shady palm-lined promenade with several big hotels interspersed by cafés, restaurants and ice cream parlours. There are peddle-boats, banana rides and jet skis for hire, so it’s great for families but not particularly restful.
