We suggest hiring a car so you can easily access the nearby village of Vinišće. This quaint fishing community is cradled by low, pine-coloured hills, with a small harbour and unspoiled sandy beach. A little further afield, and also overlooking crystal-clear waters, is the larger town of Trogir. Wind your way through the characterful streets lined with Renaissance, Baroque and Romanesque buildings, and sit down to a spread of seafood at one of the traditional waterfront restaurants.
