With a pool table, gorgeous patio terraces, a sauna, a hot tub, and more there’s so much for the grownups to enjoy. And the kids aren’t left out, either! There’s plenty to keep them entertained for hours. The designated children’s play area has a swing, sandpit, slide, seesaw, playhouse, AND a trampoline. Also, the tennis court could be a basketball court or football pitch. Not to mention a Smart TV for when the mid-day sun blazes and the kids need some inside time. And with the home completely fenced off and CCTV, you can relax by the pool easily, maybe with a cocktail in hand.
It may seem like there’s no reason to leave this haven tucked away into the hill, but we highly encourage a trip to Imotski’s Blue Lake. It’s an absolute must-see – it’s a deep enclave that’s thought to have formed from a cave collapsing. And when it did, scintillating, aqua waters appeared. Getting to the car park is a six-minute drive and then it’s just a short walk to get to the vantage point. You could go back here, or make your way down to the lake and go for a swim. It’s quite steep, making your way down will take around twenty minutes, so the ascent back up won’t be easy. But it’s so worth it.
Although you feel like you’re on your own private island, you’re not far from amenities. You’re just a six-minute drive away from the village of Imotski, and the nearest bars, shops, and restaurants are right around the corner. Or, rustle up something right at home. The outdoor kitchen is ideal for those warmer nights when being inside cooking just doesn’t feel right. Freshly grilled vegetables, fish, and meat on the barbecue sound like the perfect end to a jam-packed day in the sun.
After dinner, relax on the second-floor patio, where you can take in panoramic views of the sun dipping behind the Dalmation hinterland. If the air starts to chill, your hot tub is the perfect place to warm up.
