Villa Ariah Croatia
Holiday Home Rental Description
Situated along the coast of northern Croatia, in the region of Istria, is the glamourous villa Ariah. Sleeping ten guests, this stay will be the indulgent holiday you have been waiting for.
The villa is set across two floors and you enter the property on the ground floor. Through the front door, you walk into a luxurious open-plan family living space. Wooden flooring runs underfoot which overlooks and has access to the patio and private pool. A comfortable corner couch is on the right, facing a flat-screen TV and beneath a chandelier.
A casual coffee table with seating centres the room while a large dining table seating eight guests is on the left. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows look out over the patio and pool, filling the room with natural light and linking the outdoors to the inside.
A separate sleek, modern kitchen is off the main space, with minimal décor and a kitchen island. The kitchen appliances include a double fridge, induction hob, ice maker, juicer, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, blender and lobster pot. There is also a wine cellar within the villa for those who are connoisseurs amongst the party.
Upstairs there are three main bedrooms all light and spacious. They all overlook the sweeping landscape and have access to the sweeping balcony that runs around the first floor. Each bedroom has double beds and a modern ensuite with walk-in showers and some bathrooms have dual sinks or baths. Heated marble floors in the bathrooms will keep your feet warm. The remaining two bedrooms are set slightly away from the main family area. Designed to be staff areas, the two bedrooms come with a kitchenette and lounge area with ensuite and two single beds. These rooms are great for younger families staying or those who want that added extra bit of privacy. An elevator is available for your use, making it easy for everyone to get from floor to floor. On the first floor, a balcony overlooks the pool and has an outdoor lounge set- perfect to take your morning coffee too. A pergola sits above the chairs, proving shade from the Croatian sunshine.
Outside you have access to a heated private pool looking out over the Adriatic Sea and neighbouring coastline. Sun loungers and parasols face the pool, ready for you to put your feet up and enjoy the sunshine. Greenery surrounds the villa and along one side of the villa is a stretch of well-kept grass, great for kids to play on as it’s a softer surface than the patio.
For your enjoyment, a games room is within the villa set with a pool table, video games, stereo, table tennis, board games and a TV with a DVD player. A sauna is also ready to help relax after spending the day exploring the coastline. For those not wanting to lose their routine while away, a fitness room complete with running and cycling machines, and weights machines. Water sports gear is also available at the villa ready for you to take to the waters.Walking distance from the villa, you have all your essentials. The nearest beach is only 0.1km away, the rocky shore leads down to the clear waters. A cafe bar is also a short walk away as is the local grocery store and restaurant. Down the road from the villa is a golf club called Golf Club Adriatic. The keen golfers amongst the group will love spending a morning on the green which overlooks the Adriatic Sea.
Developed from a fishing village, Suvudrija is a northern coast settlement that now welcomes tourists to its beautiful peninsula. Historical landmarks speckle this coastline, waiting for you to discover them. Around the coast stands Savudrija Lighthouse, a beautifully maintained lighthouse that overlooks the Adriatic Sea. With a rocky coastline, you will love taking walks along the seafront with the lighthouse leading the way. Further down the coast, four miles north of the city of Amag, is Sipar Archaeological Site. When the tide is low you will be able to see the remains of a sunken city now beneath the sea. The site is still being discovered with a recent find of seventeen rooms and passages of a settlement now lost.
Umag is the villa nearest town and only seven km from the villa. With architecture dating back to the 10th century in its old town and other buildings with origins from the 17th and 18th centuries, you can learn more about the region’s past and how it has adapted to the present day. From the town, you can go on an Aquavision glass boat catamaran. Watch the fish dive beneath you, see the underwater reefs and experience this spectacular region from the water itself.
Along the west coast, Poreč is a town not to miss. With stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and a maze of cafes, restaurants and shops beneath the terracotta rooftops, you will love seeing this town for yourself. In its old town, the 6th-century Euphrasian Basilica architecture is renowned for its gem-studded Byzantine mosaics. UNESCO has made this collection of early Christian and Byzantine architecture on its World Heritage List- making it a must-see.
