Villa Elleny is a five-bedroom family-friendly retreat for twelve guests located in the idyllic gem of Imotski. Flanked by rolling meadows and rustling trees, it boasts views of Croatia’s picturesque countryside as far as you can see.

A sprawling open deck greets you with a private pool and an exclusive jacuzzi. You can laze on comfy lounger chairs or spark up the barbecue on wintery evenings. Well-manicured gardens make for the perfect spot for kids to run around and bask in the tropical sun. Colourful swings, slides and vibrant pool toys are sure to keep them hooked for hours. Dig into al-fresco meals or work up a sweat in the villa’s modern, well-stocked gym — there’s something for everyone. All five bedrooms are comfortable and home-like. Each sleeps two guests and offers clean, en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and double beds. Baby cots are also available.

Located within the rugged Dalmatian hinterland, Imotski is steeped in history and culture, with ancient churches and monuments that bear witness to centuries of tradition and heritage. Hike through lush mountains and spend all day fishing.
The captivating lakes of Modro jezero (Blue Lake) and Crveno jezero (Red Lake) are the town’s biggest draws. Both are 1 km from the villa and famous for their deep sinkholes, jagged cliffs and swimming spots. The villa is also a short distance from a myriad of shops, restaurants and bakeries.
A day trip to Makarska is worth all the fuss. One of Croatia’s most sought-after tourist destinations, it’s engulfed by the rugged Biokovo Mountains and breathtaking landscapes. Nowhere are these mountain and coastal terrains more in sync than in Biokovo Nature Park. Hike through scenic peaks, karst landscapes and sweeping Mediterranean forests. Drive up to the highest peak in the region — Sveti Jure, which towers at 1,762 metres. Nature lovers will have a splendid time at the Kotišina Botanical Garden. Visit the nearby village of Kotišina and witness the remains of a 17th Century fortification structure.
Split is the second largest city in Croatia. Game of Thrones fans are in for a gala time as it’s one of the cities used as a backdrop for the show.  Marvel at majestic ancient architecture, with the Palace of Diocletian being one of its biggest attractions. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the palace has served as a summer home as well as military camp for Emperor Diocletian. See the masterworks of Ivan Mestrovic, one of most celebrated sculptors of the 20th Century, at the Ivan Mestrovic Gallery.
As night falls, the party only gets started here. Enjoy classical music, ballet shows and event gigs at the Croatian National Theatre. Guzzle down sumptuous cocktails at the many beachfront clubs and underground bars. If you’re in the mood to relax with a glass of wine over soft, foot-tapping music, Lvxor in Old Town is the place to be.
