Villa Zalazak Croatia
Holiday Home Rental Description
Surrounded by incredible views of the sea and surrounding greenery, villa Zalazak is the moment of peace you and your loved ones need. Sleeping eight guests in four bedrooms, you have plenty of room to spread out and enjoy every minute.
The whitewashed walls and terracotta rooftop is a signature architectural theme for this region. As you step into the villa, terracotta tiles lie beneath your feet, and throughout the villa, cooling you off from the heat of the sunshine. The main communal space is the open kitchen, diner and living room. The kitchen has a traditional feel with colourful tiles, a wooden dining table seating eight guests and all the modern appliances. Appliances include a stovetop, oven, kitchenware, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer. A cosy snug including a corner sofa and flatscreen TV lies on the other side of the room to the kitchen, making the room even more communal for everyone to gather in.
Across the ground and the first floor is four bedrooms. All are light, and spacious, and have queen-sized double beds so you all enjoy a good night’s sleep. Air conditioning flows throughout the villa and built-in storage gives every guest plenty of room to unpack into. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. On the first floor, there are balconies attached to a couple of the bedrooms, looking out over the view and providing quiet moments for the guests.
On the ground floor, you have access to the outdoor patio. The patio opens out with incredible views the surrounding mountains and sea. Nestled into the coastline, the villa’s infinity pool is an extension of the Adriatic Sea below. Cushioned sunbeds line the pool with towels provided by the villa to unwind on. At the far end sits two pergolas with day beds below the white sails; creating a needed break against the sun’s rays. An outdoor dining table is set for eight guests, allowing you to enjoy the sunset while enjoying a delicious feast altogether. You have access to your own rocky beach along the water’s edge. Sun loungers and parasols are ready to help you unwind to the sound of the waves as you look out over the Adriatic Sea.Villa Zalazak is nestled along the Croatian coast, south of Dubrovnik and on the border of Montenegro, near Kotor Bay and Budva. The villa is located in Molunat, a secluded settlement along the south coast of Croatia. The word Molunat stems from the Greek word port and has evidence of being built prior to the 15th century. The surrounding landscape is filled with sandy beaches, thick pine tree forests and views of the clear waters, making your holiday blissfully peaceful. Nearby there is a couple of restaurants to choose from along the coast, all inspired by local produce and cuisine.
Montenegro’s famous Kotor Bay is just around the corner, south of the villa. Take a boat trip and explore the hidden gems of the understated terracotta roof-topped towns and submerge yourself amongst the mountains protecting the Bay. Journey into the Bay via kayak as a part of a tour, learn the history, see the landscape from a new perspective and make memories together that will last a lifetime.
Further, down the Montenegro coast, Budva is one of the oldest human settlements in the area, dating back to the 5th century- Budva. Famed for its medieval walled town and sandy beaches, Budva flourishes in the summer months, making it the centre of tourism within Montenegro. It has a big range in architecture, with the old town’s heritage compared to the modern developments and superyachts that visit year on year. Its rich history stems from the Roman Empire and also has a lot of Greek influence in the early years of the town’s development. The local food is delish and can be easily found amongst the shoreline and in the town’s narrow streets. Enjoy the delish feasts as you look over the sun setting on the Adriatic Coast.
Less than an hour’s drive north of villa Zalazek is the beloved Croatian city Dubrovnik. A maze of terracotta rooftops and narrow streets, Dubrovnik is a tourist hotspot for witnessing the culture and history of this region. The architecture is glorious and filled with sculptures, archways and engravings. The old town buildings were completed in the 13th century, giving a glimpse into what it looked like all those years ago.
