Picture this – you’re lying on a sun lounger, listening to the sound of the crickets, next to the large private pool with its tantalising glimpses of the beautiful Mediterranean sea. No, it’s not a dream – it’s what you get when you stay in this lovely detached villa in Protaras. Later for lunch, grill some halloumi on the barbecue and enjoy with pittas and a glass of Thisbe wine.
After lunch, head inside and have a game on the full-size pool table or try your hand at table football – this place is perfect for a family. We love the airy living space with its comfy grey chaise sofa and velvet dining chairs, the colour of the wild Lapsana flowers you see growing all over this island.
This home has a fabulous location, too, in our opinion. It’s around a five to ten-minute walk to the stunning Vyzakia Beach. This small, tree-lined bay, situated near a Neolithic settlement, is just perfection. Other attractions include the Cape Greco National Forest Park, 2 miles away, while Protaras Ocean Aquarium is just under 4 miles from this home.
