This Cypritic villa is all clean edges, crisp white and glass. You’re in the coastal resort of Protaras, a ten-minute stroll from the water-sport-filled shores of Sunrise Beach. From Protaras Pier, boat charters, day cruises and a dolphin submarine trip are on offer, and there’s a healthy handful of beachside bars and restaurants. If you want to hit the tiles, the buzzing nightlife hub of Ayia Napa is a fifteen-minute taxi ride away, but returning to this villa is pure peace and quiet.
It’s layered like a three-tier cake, with terraces at every level. On the ground floor, the swimming pool terrace is home to a sparkling pool, loungers, a covered dining table and a stone-built barbecue for alfresco feasts. On the first floor, the glass doors of bedrooms open up to the wrap-around balcony, and up on the rooftop terrace, you’ve got another dining table looking out to sea – perfect for sundowners.
Inside, it’s open-plan and breezy on the ground floor, with glass doors sliding back to blend the living area with the pool terrace. Crisp, white walls are livened up with blue velvet armchairs and the slate-grey dining table. And the kitchen has plenty of prep space, courtesy of a sleek breakfast bar.
