It is a 15-minute drive from the resort centre, the Village Square, so it is tucked away and very private and peaceful for a family or friends holiday. You really do get the best of both worlds with this villa – access to the incredible facilities that Aphrodite Hills offers yet a lovely tranquil villa to return to. Set on the cliffs outside Paphos, Aphrodite Hills Hills resort is a sumptuous place to stay, spread over 600 acres of protected forest. Aphrodite Hills has so many incredible facilities – spa, golf, tennis, horseriding, restaurants, children’s club, soccer school, beach club and more. The list is endless. The Village Square is a really vibrant hub of activity. Villa Orestes is exquisite and fabulously finished. The outside terrace and garden are impressive with wonderful views of the lush, fragrant shrubs and trees. It gives you a wonderful feeling of space and being away from it all. A large pergola covers the dining area, and there are great barbecue facilities for lovely al fresco dinners. The pool is splendid and so private. Children can play and squeal with joy without disturbing anyone! The open plan living, dining and kitchen area is superb with so much light coming in. The furnishings are all high quality and so comfortable. The three immaculate bedrooms are on the right side of the villa. The spacious double and twin rooms have access to a bathroom. The master king has its own bathroom and wonderful views of the garden and pool. Large doors lead directly to the pool, so perfect for that early morning swim!The location of Aphrodite Hills could not be more convenient! Paphos International Airport is just 15 minutes away, and you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of Cyprus’s south west corner with all the unspoilt attractions and culture it offers. The resort slopes down toward the shimmering waters of the Med, providing stunning views from the villas and PGA National golf course.
The closest attractions to Aphrodite Hills are Pissouri Beach and Village. They avoid being over touristy even in high season and offer a chance to see the traditional character of Paphos; one all too often missed by visitors to the island.
There is also the beautiful, child-friendly Bonamare Beach. Aphrodite Hills offer a shuttle to and from the beach, meaning you can enjoy a cocktail from the beach bar without having to worry about driving back.
Pathos old town stands as an internationally recognised site of historic and archaeological importance. The Ancient Greeks believed Aphrodite rose from the sea at Paphos, and many ancient sites, castles, and traditional villages exist in and around the town, making for convenient day trips. This has earned the entire town a place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.
