As you walk in the front door, the interiors carefully blend together with modern styles with homely features, filling the spacious rooms with a completely relaxing atmosphere. There is more than enough space for six-guests to spread out, whether lounging on sofas, cooking in the kitchen, or running and playing around the dining table. The main living space is open-plan, flooded with light through the windows and patio doors, offering guests the chance to spend time together in one room, even when occupied with different things. The openness of the space allows you to meander in and out with ease, enjoying the sunshine on the terrace, as well as the comfort of the interior, the best of both worlds!
Throughout the rest of the villa, there are three spacious bedrooms; one double and two twins. All the rooms have plenty of storage and comfy beds, so you can settle in and make yourself at home, waking up to the natural sunlight streaming in through the windows – is there anything better!
Outdoors, the terrace comes to life in the sunshine, with dappled light over the outdoor dining area from the pergola above. The barbecue is always popular with kids and adults alike, maybe even giving you a chance to get kids involved in the cooking. Make sure you pick up some local ingredients, including halloumi which tastes perfect grilled on the barbecue. Taking centre stage on the terrace is the refreshing private swimming pool where you can splash about or let your body soak in the cooling water, staring up to the bright blue, cloudless sky!Villa Pictor is situated within a private cul-de-sac, nearby the lively party town of Ayia Napa. The villa benefits from the peace and quiet of its own location, as well as having the bustling town and beautiful beaches nearby. There are two sandy beaches within walking distance of the villa, as well as the Nissi Avenue area of the resort, boasting a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops, just a few minutes’ walk away.
The coastline around the island is scattered with stunning beaches, famous for its white sandy shores and turquoise water. Inland the island opens out into wildflower meadows, with vineyards and pine trees that you can hike around, soaking in the outstanding natural landscapes.
Ayia Napa is known as a lively party destination, with bustling restaurants, folklore bars and an animated nightlife, if you enjoy a cocktail or two – it is perfect! As well as the energetic atmosphere, Ayia Napa also offers a rich history and culture, with an ancient monastery and medieval church, constructed from honey-coloured limestone, with Byzantine influences found throughout the architecture. Meals out are easy, whether you are looking for romantic restaurants or a spirited local eatery, there are plenty to choose from, serving cuisines from around the world as well as traditional dishes. We recommend ordering a mezze platter on your first night, to give you a taste of the variety of dishes available and remember the popular halloumi cheese was invented on the island, grilled and barbecued to perfection! The sweet baklava for pudding is also a must-try during your stay.
The beautiful Nissi beach is just a fifteen-minute walk from your front door. This family favourite offers sandy shores and turquoise water, clean enough to have been awarded the blue flag designation. Along the 500-meter-long coast you can sunbathe, read books, swim and even enjoy water sports and scuba diving. Sandy Bay is also just a 20-minute walk away.
