There is a poolside pergola with stylish dark rattan sofas with white cushions, where you can enjoy the views with a cold drink. Alternatively, enjoy the Mediterranean sunshine on the sun loungers.
Through a sunny yellow archway is a large dining table and beyond this, the spacious living room. Chocolate coloured sofas and chartreuse armchairs are arranged around a glossy coffee table. A marble fireplace forms a focal point, while elegant chandeliers drape from the ceiling. The French windows with fluttering white drapes provide an airy feel and lots of natural light. There’s a flat-screen television for curling up with a movie on a quiet evening.
Five captivating bedrooms are spread over three floors for optimum privacy and there are two double beds, two twin rooms and one king size bed. The interior design is eclectic – oversized headboards add a dramatic look, while the decoration is within a neutral colour scheme. There is a mixture of bedding, from turquoise to shimmering quilted cream. Quirky bedside tables carved from wood add extra design details, while unusual art hangs on the walls. The ensuite bathrooms are decorated with classic soft peach tiles – some have both a bathtub and a shower.
The kitchen and dining area is slick and modern, with a large central island where guests can sit up at. Worktops are made from glossy granite, with plenty of room to prepare meals – this fully equipped kitchen is great for self-catering. Another dining table made from dark wood is surrounded with sage green chairs. For those who love to barbecue, there is a dedicated barbecue kitchen next to the outdoor dining terrace. Green is a motif around the villa, inspired by the lush garden and the hillside location.The location of Aphrodite Hills could not be more convenient! Paphos International Airport is just 15 minutes away, and you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of Cyprus’s south west corner with all the unspoilt attractions and culture it offers. The resort slopes down toward the shimmering waters of the Med, providing stunning views from the villas and PGA National golf course.
The closest attractions to Aphrodite Hills are Pissouri Beach and Village. They avoid being over touristy even in high season and offer a chance to see the traditional character of Paphos; one all too often missed by visitors to the island.
There is also the beautiful, child-friendly Bonamare Beach. Aphrodite Hills offer a shuttle to and from the beach, meaning you can enjoy a cocktail from the beach bar without having to worry about driving back.
Pathos old town stands as an internationally recognised site of historic and archaeological importance. The Ancient Greeks believed Aphrodite rose from the sea at Paphos, and many ancient sites, castles, and traditional villages exist in and around the town, making for convenient day trips. This has earned the entire town a place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.
