Decorated in a lavish style with exceptional attention to detail, the interiors of this property belong on the pages of a glossy magazine. Opulent fabrics and chic furnishings are particularly beautiful in the living room, with plush purple velvet sofas and vintage gold armchairs. A dramatic chandelier hangs from the ceiling, while a glossy dark coffee table adds extra design points. French doors surrounding the property allow the fresh air in.
There are five glorious bedrooms spread over three floors at this property – the master bedroom is truly extraordinary, with a shimmering gold bedspread on the king-size canopy bed and a dodecahedron shaped bedside table inlaid with mirrors. Several beds have oversized statement headboards in metallic colours at this villa – the two guest bedrooms have double beds. The final room has a set of two bunk beds in distressed white wood, ideal for kids.
Open the sliding glass doors to reach the kitchen. Fully equipped and decorated in monochrome, with a large, stylish kitchen island. Granite worktops provide ample space to prepare a delicious feast using your ingredients from the luxury hamper.
A second living space known as the family room is ideal for some downtime – curl up and read a book or watch a movie in this inspiring space with cobalt walls and a cosy black velvet sofa. Also on this floor is a small study or office – a great spot to write some holiday postcards.The location of Aphrodite Hills could not be more convenient! Paphos International Airport is just 15 minutes away, and you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of Cyprus’s south west corner with all the unspoilt attractions and culture it offers. The resort slopes down toward the shimmering waters of the Med, providing stunning views from the villas and PGA National golf course.
The closest attractions to Aphrodite Hills are Pissouri Beach and Village. They avoid being over touristy even in high season and offer a chance to see the traditional character of Paphos; one all too often missed by visitors to the island.
There is also the beautiful, child-friendly Bonamare Beach. Aphrodite Hills offer a shuttle to and from the beach, meaning you can enjoy a cocktail from the beach bar without having to worry about driving back.
Pathos old town stands as an internationally recognised site of historic and archaeological importance. The Ancient Greeks believed Aphrodite rose from the sea at Paphos, and many ancient sites, castles, and traditional villages exist in and around the town, making for convenient day trips. This has earned the entire town a place on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.
