Manoir Campagnard France
Holiday Home Rental Description
A picture-perfect villa set in the bucolic landscapes of the Lot-et-Garonne, Manoir Campagnard exudes historic character with its beautiful interiors and striking pigeonnier. Yet its contemporary charms will entice you as you kick back in the elegant living spaces and rest across its spacious bedrooms.
This 18th century manoir has undergone a remarkable restoration since its owners fell in love with the house and gardens in 2019. As keen food lovers themselves, they have created the most stunning kitchen with high-end appliances whilst the French oak table in the stylish dining room, set by the woodburning fire, is the perfect place for regional feasts with family and friends. Wine-lovers have their own private cellar for tastings by candlelight – allow the owners to help you arrange a custom-made wine-tasting experience sampling the best vintages of this magnificent region.
The wood-beamed lounge upstairs has been designed with convivial evenings in mind whilst on the lower floor a children’s lounge, which doubles up as a quad en suite bedroom, features a Smart TV to watch whilst lazing on the huge sofa. The six main doubles are all sumptuous in style, dotted across the main and upper levels, featuring king-size beds, high quality linen and en suite shower rooms with hairdryers and toiletries.
Stepping outside, the courtyard is simply idyllic with its generous dining areas, al-fresco lounge and firepit or you may prefer to set up meals on the breakfast terrace overlooking the peaceful gardens and trees. Soak up the tranquil ambience as you play pétanque or table tennis, then dip into the heated swimming pool with gorgeous countryside views and the summer aroma of lavender.
